Bereits der Name prototech. Impliziert, dass das Hauptaugenmerk in der Konstruktion und Berechnung sowie der anschließenden Fertigung von Prototypen bzw. Teilen für Fahrzeuge liegt. Erwähnt sei hier die Berücksichtigung des Gesamtsystems Fahrzeug. Bei einer etwaigen Modifikation eines Fahrzeugteils wird auch die Auswirkung auf das Umfeld betrachtet um negativen Effekten im Vorfeld auszuweichen. Hier zeigt sich als großer Vorteil, dass die Konstruktion und Fertigung vor Ort möglich sind.

Mittels zahlreicher Mess- und Diagnosegeräte (Zylinder-Innenmessgerät, Innen- und Aussen-Mikrometer, Endoskop,…) und Spezialwerkzeuge ist es möglich Motorenteile exakt zu vermessen bzw. für den Sporteinsatz zu modifizieren. Somit ist die Instandsetzung von Serienmotoren oder der Aufbau von Rennmotoren unter Berücksichtigung des Einsatzzwecks ebenso möglich, wie die Überholung und/oder die Anpassung von Getrieben, sowie die Konstruktion und Fertigung von Sonderwünschen.

Die Vorbereitung des Rennfahrzeuges im Vorfeld zu einer Veranstaltung, vom Service bis zum Reifen-Wechsel, ermöglicht meinen Kunden am Renn-Wochenende ausschließlich das Fahren zu genießen. Für die Betreuung meiner Kunden an der Rennstrecke stehen zwei voll ausgestattete Transportbusse zur Verfügung. Vor Ort ist es im Bedarfsfall möglich, Fahrzeuge instand zu setzen oder im Fahrwerksbebereich und in der Motorabstimmung zu optimieren.

Ob Aufbau von Sportmotorrädern, Tourenwagen, Rallyefahrzeugen oder Prototypen – alle haben eine Gemeinsamkeit – Optimierung auf einen festgelegten Einsatzzweck. Der Einsatz im Rennsport stellt besondere Anforderungen an ein Fahrzeug. Parameter wie z.B. der Fahrzeug-Schwerpunkt, Spur- und Sturzverhalten der Räder, Feder bzw. Dämpferraten und die Lenk-Geometrie können für den entsprechenden Einsatzzweck optimiert werden.
