Providentially His

Saturday, December 1, 2012. The Lord is so good. My due date was November 30th, which meant that my mom would not be able to come for the birth because she would not be able to get off of work until her Christmas break started. The only way she would be able to be here for the birth was if Izzie decided to come on her own the week of Thanksgiving while my parents were here visiting. Friday, November 23, 2012:. All times are approximate*. Something. So we headed to the mall to walk around. After we finish...

Providentially His: October 2012

http://www.providentiallyhis.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html

Tuesday, October 30, 2012. 4 1/2 weeks to go! I have started writing a few blog posts, but never finish them. I'm honestly not that busy right now, but just haven't felt like writing. Plus I am trying to keep our apartment picked up and spend time with Little Man before his little sister arrives. Speaking of his little sister.she will, Lord Willing, be here in 4 1/2 weeks or less! I am really hoping for "less." :-) The way that Canaan's training schedule is, it would be perfect. Tuesday, October 2, 2012.

Providentially His: February 2012

http://www.providentiallyhis.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html

Wednesday, February 22, 2012. I have been dabbling with the idea of starting a photography business. I am excited, nervous, and scared all at the same time. I keep asking myself if I'm good enough to do this. I know that I definitely have a lot. To learn, but so did most. Coming up with a name for my business has been much harder than I anticipated. I have gotten great feedback from people, but I am totally stuck. Here are the choices and the positives/negatives about them:. Or Jillian Barger Photography.

Providentially His: Advice, please!

http://www.providentiallyhis.blogspot.com/2012/09/advice-please.html

Friday, September 21, 2012. Okay, all of my Facebok Mommy friends. I need some advice about Little Man. Now, I know that all babies are different (should I even be calling him a baby any more since he is running around AND I'm having a baby in two months? But I'm hoping that you can still share some wisdom from your own experiences or wisdom that was given to you that maybe didn't work for your child, but worked for someone else's child. Has anyone else dealt with this? Do you have any advice for me?

Providentially His: March 2012

http://www.providentiallyhis.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html

Thursday, March 29, 2012. 20 Questions for our Tongues. So, I wanted to take today to share these questions with you. Don't simply rush through them. Copy and paste them into a word document, print them, and slowly go through the list. Which ones do you struggle with the most? How can you change your tongue so that the words of your mouth and the meditation of your heart may be acceptable in the sight of the Lord (Psalm 19:14). Do your words cast other sin a less than positive light? You sit and speak ag...

In A Sentence .org. The best little site that helps you understand word usage with examples. Providentially in a sentence. Was my name providentially ordered to be Green, that he might pass verbal contumely upon it? No fire, no wine or spirits, or medicine of any kind, and no person being within a call, but luckily, perhaps the occasion would better suit the word providentially, Tuffin, calling, took me home with him . July 4, 2016. What does independence look like? Is it the toddler who learns to potty-train? Or is the the child who can successfully pack their own suitcase for a short trip? What about the college girl who can work semi-part-time, do well in classes and take care herself? Yes, all of those are independence. Today I saw a new kind of independence. It was the independence to jump in a pool. But what if you never felt like you’d be able to do what you once did? Am I a jerk? June 18, 2016. Let me give a li...

Letting God have the last word. Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. October 3, 2016. It’s been two months since we dropped our youngest off at college. I thought I was ready for the empty nest . I was wrong. The unmade bed. The almost-empty glasses of milk left overnight on the end table. Shoes and socks and athletic gear piled by the door. I can’t believe I’m saying thisbut I MISS THE MESS! Worrying when it was getting late and he wasn’t home yet. A few more gray hairs mine, not his&...
