160;      All Things for Good. Monday, March 5, 2012. Happy Birthday, Gloria Grace! Once upon a time, in a time not too long ago,. There lived a couple in a land quite distant. From the place they now call home. They had decided, the two of them together. That their hearts would be on Mission. And they would be content as a family of two. forever. With sweat and tears and sometimes blood, they toiled and they prayed. For a people they did not know, yet loved none the less, anyway. Shall it be Gloria?

All Things for Good: January 2011

http://www.providentialperspective.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html

160;      All Things for Good. Sunday, January 23, 2011. Love, your Daddy. Dear my little Faith Makiera,. You are two years old Today. I am a little skeptical though. Because you came out a few to maybe even ten days from your due date early, I kind of feel like you're not really two yet. Anyway, this is the birthday God gave you, and I am so happy you are here. You ask for prayer and songs every night. Our favorite songs are "Jesus loves me" "Amazing Grace" "I surrender all" and the ABC's. Our deepest h...

160;      All Things for Good. Thursday, March 31, 2011. Decisions to be made. I don't know what to write. I don't know how to collect the many thoughts running through my mind in a concise and organized manner. This, I do know. Is the healing balm for the soul.". Not thatnwe muster up, apart from Him. God gives and He takes away. He is good. Whatever blessing and whatever challenge He gives to us is for our good and His glory. It has not come from anyone else, but Him. We heard from Namibia this morning...

All Things for Good: Sunday morning drama

http://www.providentialperspective.blogspot.com/2011/03/sunday-morning-drana.html

160;      All Things for Good. Sunday, March 27, 2011. The day just wouldn't be complete without it. So, Todd got up with the girls this morning and I was sleeping in. Now if I stopped at that sentence, it would be lovely, but no. Ooooooh. No loveliness at all. What I came down the stairs to was anything but peaceful. By all the ruckus you would have thought we were in the middle of a natural disaster. And, if we dropped the word natural. A disaster. I mean a HUGE. Said a wild eyed Keano. Pick the lock&#...

       All Things for Good: Rejoice!

http://www.providentialperspective.blogspot.com/2011/08/rejoice.html

160;      All Things for Good. Tuesday, August 16, 2011. Who is like you, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like you, majestic in holiness, awesome in glorious deeds, doing wonders? When I look back over the past five years we've had Keano and all the obstacles we faced with their various trials in getting Keano's adoption finalized, what can I do but worship? Rejoice with us, our friends! Rejoice that God has given us a son! All are welcome :). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Things that aren't obvious?

All Things for Good: September 2010

http://www.providentialperspective.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html

160;      All Things for Good. Tuesday, September 28, 2010. This past year we've learned a lot about hope. We've learned what it isn't and what it is. We've learned about things that are shakeable that we never thought would be shaken. Things that are not 'meant' to be shaken. It comes in waves. Waves upon waves. What if the plan is to suffer? How do you hope rightly or better, accurately. In the midst of suffering? Do you hope for? Promised us, I became scared. Terrified, actually. I realized ho...When ...

Friday, April 11, 2014. And Another Catch Up Post! I think I have been avoiding the blog as using cell phone pictures is SOOO annoying! The blog starts with some fun "green day" pictures. I do love having everyone in green! I am sure Shelly was grooving on her new dress too.). Then we move to Nate, Nate's one year pictures. At least he likes eating cake more than Shelly's food! Well, I guess that's all for now! Please don't give up on me. Eventually we will get that new computer! View my complete profile.

Buchman Family: Fort Fun

http://thebuchmanfamily2.blogspot.com/2014/09/fort-fun.html

Monday, September 22, 2014. We had a very busy Sunday, which included a quick stop to the park (too windy so we abandoned that plan), stop at Home Depot for stain for the deck, exploring around Target, lunch at Panara, and then off to the Flat Rock Riverview Festival. The festival was actually the original plan at 10:00 am until we learned it didn't open until noon, and had 2 hrs to occupy our time. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Thats one way to say it. Happy First Day of Kindergarten!

The Buchman Family: Newport Aquarium

http://thebuchmanfamily.blogspot.com/2012/03/newport-aquarium.html

Monday, March 19, 2012. I few weekends ago we visited the Newport Aquarium, which is on the boarder of KY, right next to Cincy. Tyler loved checking out all the fishy from his great seat! What do you think of this "little" guy? Of course the frog exhibit is always fun. Brooke decided each of the penguins needed a little hug. This one. And this one too. Yes, that is a shark in the back ground coming to say "hi.". Thank you Bob and Nicole for the super fun Christmas gift of the tickets! All Things for Good.

She quickly opened up the first sucker she caught! I know I have said it before.if you ask me who Tyler looks like. Its definitely Brooke! Check out these pictures, almost exactly 2 years apart. Brooke is smaller, but wow do they have the same smile! Sunday, October 23, 2011. Thursday, October 20, 2011. Kisses ...

Buchman Family: October 2014

http://thebuchmanfamily2.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html

Friday, October 17, 2014. I was so excited Brooke's first fundraiser at school didn't include having to sell something. Brooke is selling tins of candy for girl scouts, and making like $0.90 per sale versus the $6-$7 cost of the item. I understand the girl scout organization needs someone to make money to cover the saleries for the people running the organization, but I absolutely despise going door to door selling stuff! If you want to add anything to the donation, here is Brooke's website!

The Buchman Family: March 2012

http://thebuchmanfamily.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html

Wednesday, March 28, 2012. Poor kiddo. Brooke however, was still in a pretty good mood, just a little sleepy. The doctor changed her antibiotic, and also prescribed a steroid. Here is what our counter looks like. I also learned too much about the pharmacy's in the area! Kroger's is the worst. (The syringe didn't even fit in the container, and they took way too long! Target is the best! However, Brooke was still smiling, and excited to show her new hat that momma made her. Sunday, March 25, 2012. Shelly e...

I was released from my calling as the 1st Counselor in the Relief Society Presidency on Sunday, April 14, 2013. I served in that position since November 7, 2010. Just under 2 1/2 years. I know the exact date because I was sustained and set apart on Sunday, and on the following Thursday I delivered my third child. ;). Kitty and Shaunna (other presidency members) already have callings in the Primary, and I am still waiting. Will update later about that! 9829;♡♥ Julie. Kalli: Then and Now. My newest time-co...

Lent– Should we “give up” something or Give-in” to Christ? March 5th, 2014. As we go into the season of “Lent”, I would like to pose a question. Is Lent about us or about what Jesus did for us? If it is about the latter– The I would also ask which is better: “To give up something we probably should give up anyway; OR to “give-in” fully and completely to being the LIGHT of Jesus to the world and showing those HE places in our path what the LOVE of Jesus is really about? I want to bring a challenge to all ...

Providential Roads | Learning to walk a life of purpose in the midst of a crazy world

September 23, 2013. Feeling Small In the Wake of So Much Evil…. I’m at a loss of words after reading the accounts of recent events, both domestically and internationally. I just find myself feeling so small in the wake of it all. What can I do, sitting behind a screen, reading of unimaginable horrors being played out in real life? What is the proper response to such events as an American, unaffected directly by the catastrophes? And I believe that, in light of current events, we will all be directly affe...
