Wednesday, January 26, 2011. On Friday, January 21, we decided to visit the old headquaters of the National Bank of Brazil shown here. The public is allowed to go to the top of this building. There is an observation deck just below the round tower. One must take two elevators, a narrow stair case and a circular metal stair case to get to observation deck. Tuesday, January 03, 2012. We had our traditional tree decorating dinner the day after Thanksgiving. We wanted to get our tree up before Gavin left for a week to France. It was a nice evening and although I forgot to take a picture the tree looked fab! David and Kris Taylor. We got to see the tree in the later posts and it did look fabulous. Sunday, February 20, 2011. The first six photos were all taken just outside the south wall of one of the largest cemeteries in São Paulo. The back of these small shops (to your right) is the wall of the "Cemitério do Santíssimo Saramento/Araça" on Avenida Doutor Arnaldo. There are dozens of these vendors along this street. This is a very busy street and it is easy to see how much of the sidewalk has been taken up to accomodate these flower shops. Thursday, February 17, 2011. Singing in the mail room.

Wednesday, September 28, 2011. So far he seems to flower once a year, at the end of summer. It's always very exciting time around here. After almost 2 years, Drew still does an excellent job of taking care of Spike. He waters him, rotates him to the sun and moves him around to make sure he gets varying. Types of light and views of all the family happenings:). Yesterday I saw Spike out back "watching them jump on the trampoline.". Tuesday, September 27, 2011.
