Friday, March 7, 2008. Since winter is ending and spring is just around the corner it seems like everyone gets a little antsy to finally be able to do all of the fun activities that winter prohibits. This leaves us with two options. 1 -we could just hold our horses for another month until spring was legitimately here or 2- do as my family does and go to the desert where it's spring year round! Scott, Dad, and Brian getting ready to tee-off on day 1. I can't wait to start golfing again!

The choices were difficult because of the simplicity of each dish. There was a wide variety and it all sounded very good. We ended up starting with what is called "Focaccia" which comes from Genova, my first area on my mission. A really simple bread with tomato, basil, garlic. I was quite impressed. A couple months ago a friend and I did a lemon-detox diet (later found out it's not very good for you, should've known on my own) in which you drink a combination of lemon juice, water,. Basically the tea loosens up everything, and then in the morning the sea salt water is the same consistency of your insides so it just runs right through. I never had anything look like that luckily.
