Update.surgery went well, Dr. took the implant out put in one size smaller this way theres more skin to stitch.thats been my problem since day 1, not enough fat or skin.now at least I have a little more skin.just a little lopsided! She said it won't even be noticeable, at this point I just want it to heal. Wednesday, January 27, 2010. Saturday, January 23, 2010. So here I am a year older.happy to be celebrating a birthday! Warm enough to go biking today, great 20 mile bike ride!

Thursday, October 29, 2009. Beautiful weather.feeling great! Thanks to all who participated in the HVL Zoombathon we raised $ 1200 for cancer research! Burns pretty much gone! Now getting a "tan". tough way to get a tan! Hair is growing back pretty quickly.thinking another month and the wig may be history! Everyone enjoy.we won't have this weather for long! Sunday, October 25, 2009. Weekend lab is over.amazing how well a person can think when there are no chemicals in the brain! Burns are going way.

Saturday, February 20, 2010. Got stitches out.again.hopefully everything holds this time.looking forward to finally be able to start getting strong again. Sunday, February 14, 2010. So now I totally inderstand how the irradiated skin does not heal, and why the Docs are so concerned about doing anything to it. 2 months after the surgery where they took the port out I woke up Thursday morning and it was opened back up again.all I did was wake up from sleeping.nothing stressful!
