http://odyssia.blogspot.com/2005_03_01_archive.html
Comment-link {margin-left:.6em;}. Creating Media of All Kinds. Thursday, March 03, 2005. This week is the FilmExchange Festival. So I'm deep into it! Last night was the SnowScreen - animation and experimental film projected onto a carved block of snow. God bless hardy hearty Winnipeggers - at least 400 out, some even to the bitter end. Comment-link {margin-left:.6em;}. Creating Media of All Kinds. Sunday, August 28, 2005. Most Satisfying. Day. Ever. Sooo many satisfying moments, but a few include:. Seeing my name on the slate in the Director slot. Hearing the assistant camera call and mark the first shot. Working with the cast and DP through a few moments that weren't quite what I wanted until I got what I was going for. Seeing how beautiful the actresses look through the viewfinder. Fun to fall asleep in a house filled with film gear.

Comment-link {margin-left:.6em;}. Creating Media of All Kinds. Monday, May 21, 2007. How to Stop an Exploding City. Is it a coincidence that the finale of Heroes. Titled "How to Stop an Exploding Man" (who might take a city with him) airs just as the citizens of Toronto send hundreds and hundreds of firecrackers into the sky? Don't bother me with solstician details.). Because who celebrates summer's return with more enthusiasm than Canadians? Posted by Polly @ 8:31 PM. At 11:37 PM, May 23, 2007.

Comment-link {margin-left:.6em;}. Creating Media of All Kinds. Monday, January 31, 2005. I've periodically updated a blog at livejournal over the last 2 years, but in a space of a week, two admirable friends have opened up shop over here. (Hello Ariel. I've used it for politics, life updates, and creativity updates. I like the idea of having a few blogs for different uses. So I will experiment and see how it works to blog over here! Perhaps I will be a little more regular if I have people responding!

Comment-link {margin-left:.6em;}. Creating Media of All Kinds. Monday, June 18, 2007. Banff was amazing - even exceeding expectations! My pre-set meetings went fine, and I now have major. Incentive to finish up the pilot of my post-CFC project. But the most memorable encounters I had were the random ones - running into someone while waiting in line, or sitting next to someone at one of the fab-o workshops, or - as advertised - hanging out at the St. James Gate.
