The Shoe Print: Valentine Fun
http://shoeprint.blogspot.com/2015/02/valentine-fun.html
Thursday, February 19, 2015. Although we spent Valentine's Day in the hospital with a sick little Char Char, we still managed to have some fun celebrating. The weekend before Valentine's Day, Justin took the girls to a local Daddy/Daughter dance. They met some neighbors for dinner beforehand and then hit the big par-tay. Justin is always so thoughtful, even in the midst of craziness. This was welcoming me home from the hospital on one of my breaks from staying with Charlie. Omelettes in a Bag. On Wings a...

The Shoe Print: Friday Faves
http://shoeprint.blogspot.com/2015/03/friday-faves.html
Friday, March 6, 2015. Here's an ode to all my current faves. Nalgene sippy cups for my kids. Are you a sippy cup hater like me? I have tried every.single.cup on the market, looking for one that doesn't leak. This is the only one I've found - the Naglene Grip and Gulp. My kids each have one and really, they don't leak! Plus, it's 12 oz so it holds a lot more than your traditional sippy, which means you don't have to fill it up as often. Holla! Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty. Crazy Joy - my friend Kati...

The Shoe Print: On being 8 months old with a curvy spine
http://shoeprint.blogspot.com/2014/08/on-being-8-months-old-with-curvy-spine.html
Wednesday, August 27, 2014. On being 8 months old with a curvy spine. Our little man is 8 months! Umm, time. can you pleeeeease slow down? He's eating basically all foods, feeds himself like a champ, scooting around, refusing to take a bottle (Can you believe it? I only half hate it though. Since he's most likely our last I'm letting him get away with his mama-only demands.), still toothless, down to one nap a day (poor, poor third child. it's the best we can do with our school schedule! The good news is...

Every Good and Perfect Gift: December 2011
http://goodperfectgift.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like the shifting shadows." James 1:17. Saturday, December 24, 2011. Today is Christmas Eve and there is no snow. That seems almost impossible for Iowa! Our backyard was the perfect place for her first experience on a sled. It has a very gentle slope; not too fast, but just the right speed for a two-year-old. Friday, December 23, 2011. Watching me change Ollie's diaper, "Mom! More Fall and T...

The Shoe Print: Just being real
http://shoeprint.blogspot.com/2010/09/just-being-real.html
Monday, September 13, 2010. So, I do my best to avoid giving TMI. On this blog. I know my dad and father-in-law are among my readers and I like to spare them from some nasty details of my life if possible. :) BUT. this is also my blog and so today I'm just going to be real. If you don't want to read about boobs, milk supply, clogged milk ducts, pumping, etc. you can just skip right over this baby. Lindsey gave birth with no drugs and said the pain from mastitis was way worse than that! Drama over, right?
