Saturday, April 20, 2013. Becca and I spent most of the day on a grocery shopping excursion - it was a busy day - but we got some good saving! We bought the ingredients for our big batch of spaghetti sauce - I can't wait to smell and taste it! FYI - Walmart has a new coupon policy - they will only price match for stores within a 5 mile radius! Chuck mowed the yard - it looks wonderful - thank you! Wednesday, December 12, 2012. Events of the day. I had a nice little treat - Mamaw was nearby at lunchtime and picked me up for lunch. She is such a sweetheart! It is Jon and Ben's 12th birthday on 12/12/12 - Happy Birthday to our favorite nephews! What a special blessing you both are! Grampa should be going home today -praying for both of you - get some rest! I'm fighting a cold that is perking it's ugly little head up - vitamin c and tea! I've also heard that oregano and b-12 does wonders in kicking it!

Monday, April 22, 2013. She poured off the buttermilk and enjoyed her butter with some townhouse crackers. Delicious! We all had a sweet tooth, therefore I tried my hand at whoopie pies. How simple! They were easy, quick and very good. I had a triple chocolate cake mix to use, and then made the icing from scratch. The recipe that I used was.
