Friday, August 7, 2015. Hawaii Day 14 - Sunset, Matsumoto, Turtles. Today we had a "busy" day. We were lazy to begin with. Then we were off to Sunset beach. Big waves, with a big undertow, and a steep drop off. Fun for the bigger kids, not so fun for the little ones. Although, they had fun on the beach, in the sand and running from and jumping the waves. Wednesday, August 12, 2015. Hawaii Day 19 - Hukilau. Today was a Hukilau day. Hukilau is seriously the best beach around. Perfect waves, good sand, nice breeze all the time, and only 3 minutes from our house (by car). It could only be better if the jelly fish would disappear and there was a bathroom. Saturday, August 15, 2015. Hawaii Day 22 - Pipeline. Today we had our first day of the kids saying "I want to go to this beach" "I want to go to that beach". Or at least our first day that we let it effect our decision. So we split up. The Dances and Natalie went to Turtle Bay (calm water, no jelly fish). Sunday, August 2, 2015. We were lazy on Saturday morning. Played some games, watched some TV, read books. After lunch we walked down the street to Temple Beach. That night the adults went to dinner and a movie while Kimber and Sam babysat. We had a good time eating at Seven Brothers, a yummy burger place, and then watching Mission Impossible. Monday, April 13, 2015. Day 14b: Sydney, Australia. After climbing the pylon we walked to back to Circular Quay to catch a bus to Bondi beach. On the way to the bus we ran into these boys doing this crazy stupid jump on their skateboards. We sat there for a good 10 minutes watching them. It took them awhile to finally do it and it was crazy when they did. Bondi Beach did not disappoint. Probably one of my favorite top 3 beaches I've ever visited. It was amazing. Sunday, August 9, 2015. Hawaii Day 16 - Hukilau, Grocery Shopping, and Date Night. Saturday morning we headed to Hukilau. It was a pretty cloudy day, which was kind of nice for a change. It wasn't so hot. But was also windy, which meant more sand to the face :). Sam walking back from swimming in the big waves:. Cam and Konrad were flying around the beach:. We looked out at the sky and noticed rain was coming AND our kids were hungry so we packed up super quick and got out of there before we got poured on.
