Mind the Gap: One Month Down
http://pscorcoran.blogspot.com/2011/05/one-month-down.html
Well, keeping up with blogging since Hakan's arrival has become a thing of the past! Good thing we don't have too much to write about since our days in London are numbered and we haven't been up to much! The first month has gone by quicker then I imagined. Our days have been full of feeding, nappy changing, and rocking the little man to sleep but we have had some fun and visitors as well! It was a great first month in London for Hakan and the start of winding down our time abroad. Reading for the Tube.
Mind the Gap: Hakan Wayne Corcoran
http://pscorcoran.blogspot.com/2011/04/hakan-wayne-corcoran.html
After nine months of waiting, our little guy made his apperance on April 18, 2011 at 1:37 pm weighing 7 pounds, 10 ounces and 21 inches long! It was an uneventful labor and delivery as there wasn't any labor and the delivery was a planned C-section! Even though we had the C-section preliminary scheduled for a few weeks before, we kept it a secret to keep some of the surprise of it for our family and friends. And afternoon tea each day, including finger sandwiches and scones with clotted cream.

A Trip Over Seas. Here is a post from Annika Johnson, one of Susan's cousin. Annika visited with us from July 21st to August 4th with side trips to Dublin and Paris as well! Unfortunately, because of the delay, we missed our flight to Dublin on Friday. We had to rebook a costly flight but made it there! In Dublin, we saw the Wicklow Mountains, along with the Powerscourt waterfall, which was filmed in the movie P.S I Love You. Our next destination was Paris, which I loved! We first went to the Notre Dame ...
Mind the Gap: October 2010
http://pscorcoran.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Back to the Homeland. We made our way to the ferry crossing to cross the Sonjeford to Hella and then onto Dragsvik, where we were staying for the night. Now, being that it was the beginning of October, it was the off season for visiting the fjords and a lot of hotels and restaurants were closed. Dragsvik was a tiny town in the first place and the only place in town serving food was our hotel! So we asked if they could perhaps just make us burgers at the bar and they graciously agreed! We eventually made ...
Mind the Gap: September 2010

We made it back to the airport without getting pulled over, thankfully, and were on our way back to London after a full ten days of one of the most beautiful, restful, and perfect holidays we’ve had so far. I'm On A Boat - Part Tre. I'm On A Boat - Part Duex. The next morning Susan and I decided to rent ATVs to explore the island some before we set out to sea. The island was suppose to have some picturesque villages so we figured we might as well check them out! We motored to the southern tip of the isla...

How to Get Rid of That Annoying Itch. Since we are hosting guests this spring for almost six straight weeks we have been very busy planning lots of trips. While planning these trips for the last few weeks we began to get the itch to travel, but it was still a good month away! Now for those who don’t know who Flat Stanley is, he is a boy who wanted to see the world. So he decided to make himself flat, and mail himself to different destinations. It was our job to find some clothes for Flat St...Then, we br...

Mind the Gap: April Showers
http://pscorcoran.blogspot.com/2011/04/april-showers.html
I was fortunate enough to have two of my very good friends at work, Tiah and Rachael, host a baby shower for me at the beginning of the month! It ended up being a beautiful Sunday afternoon and Mother's Day in the UK which was quite fitting given the occasion! We headed over towards the quaintest little tea house by the British Museum for a tea party shower! The owners of the tea house were amazing and even opened up on Sunday, when they are normally closed, just for the party! Click Here to View Photos!
Mind the Gap: December 2010
http://pscorcoran.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
We hope all our family and friends have a. Pat, Susan, Lady and Baby Corcoran. Okay, it's not a haiku but a pretty creative blog from our recent guests from Athens, Kelly and Adam Myre! We went to London in December. To spark the holiday cheer. And because we missed it so much. We hadn’t been in almost a year! Susan and Pat were kind enough to offer. To let us stay at their flat. So we got to spend time with them and Lady. And of course Chico, the Chihuahua they dog-sat. We started with Portobello Road.
Mind the Gap: Florida to London!
http://pscorcoran.blogspot.com/2011/04/florida-to-london.html
Thanks to Pat and Susan for being such wonderful hosts and making our trip to London one we will never forget! I mean, who wouldn’t want people coming in to your “efficient” apartment when you are 7 months pregnant and about to move back across the pond? We liked Paris but were really excited to head back to London! Needless to say, our flight back was full of discussion of how we want to move to London! PS We also fell in love with Lady.
