Mine, Yours and Whose? Saturday, July 23, 2011. Trek was one of the best things that has ever happened to me! It was such a great experience! The very first day when I had to be at the stake center at 4:30 am I was thinking that I was going to hate trek. but then we got an extra 2 hours of sleep on the bus! Belize is home to the longest barrier reef in the western hemisphere, and second in area only to the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. And I would've brought an underwater camera. Cort and I bought waterproof cameras on the ship. Cort ended up taking all the pictures. I love how the camera decided to focus on the background instead of the tiny shell right in front of it. We went out on Portage Lake in a ice-breaker boat. When it plows through the ice it creates these cool little needle-shards along the fault lines. Portage Glacier: The nearby weather station mid-April recorded winds of 214 mph. The view is so fantastic that these pictures can't possibly do it justice! 30 Pikes Place Market. 1000 Places to See. Travel is fatal to prejudice." - Mark Twain. March 28, 2011. 42 Philadelphia Flower Show. This year's theme was Springtime In Paris. Overall, I was a little disappointed, mostly because it was just so crowded, and noisy, but some of the displays were truly spectacular. It was one of those things that you are glad to have seen, but ultimately feel the need to see again, I think. Part of the recreated Eiffel Tower constructed at the entrance of the show. Part of the carousel exhibit.
