When everyone has a digital camera, does the value of a single image become less? One of Apple's biggy Apps is Iphoto, and we all know how far they went with IPODS. And camera cell phones, just try finding a cell phone without a camera. Is a Picture Worth a 1,000 words? Posted by Wingman, aka BigBopper. @ 6:32 PM. Wingman, aka BigBopper. Sunday, August 14, 2005. I have to admit that my posts have been less frequent lately because I've gotten back to Story Writing on a fairly consistent basis. The Creative juices are flowing again, and I Owe it all to Blogging. My fable JD Crab is humming along, and few more mainstream faire is also doing nicely. I may even resuscitate my long-suffering novel "Metamorphosis" . But that is a biggie. Maybe I'll update the story-lines here. Posted by Wingman, aka BigBopper. @ 8:09 AM. Wingman, aka BigBopper.

Sunday, September 03, 2006. Tools in the Toolbox. What Makes Linux Different? The other day I was installing the new license number to the Honda. It needed a hex wrench. I didn't have one. Well, actually, I DID have one, I just couldn't find it easily. I used an oversized open wrench instead. It did the job, but wasn't as handy as the right tool for the job, which was a socket wrench. Linux comes with a toolbox with All the Right Tools. An outrageous collection of programming tools. Wingman, aka BigBopper.

Tuesday, February 07, 2006. Back to reading one of my favorite wordsmith: William Gibson's Virtual Light. The foreign eyes of a cultural inspector examining the SF Bridge that collapsed in the quake. And the creation of a new city out of the wreckage rings true. Too bad his X-Files. Episode's Kill Switch (1998). And First Person Shooter (2000). Could not capture this gifted writer's skill in story telling. Why is it that Great Writers are translated into movies and TV shows so badly. My Original Blog Site.

Thursday, March 23, 2006. Gibson, French Maids and IPOD wagging Apple. Finally finished "Virtual Light". By William Gibson and enjoyed it immensely. Up next: Dan Brown's "The DaVinci Code". Interested in learning about Podcasting? Some French Maid Video tutorials. Can help you out. Check it out at: French Maid TV. See, I'm not totally against Apple. Even with Windows Vista delayed until 2007, it seems Apple is still. Losing ground and may slip to 3rd place behind Linux. Is now wagging the dog Apple.

Thursday, October 26, 2006. A Writers BLOG not BLOCK! Me and My Wife's recent Anniversary trip to Cambria CA. (close to our honeymoon site of Santa Barbara 40 years ago) started the writing juices again. It was probably the Pacific Ocean View out the window and the soft crash of the waves on Moonstone Beach. Looking Out The Window. Looking North (up the Beach). Linda on the Beach. That's pretty inspirational for a gnome-head like me. (Yup! Posted by Wingman, aka BigBopper. @ 6:56 PM.
