서울대학교 심리학-철학 연계전공
과학과 기술의 발달과 함께 물질적으로는 풍요로워졌지만 인간의 심성 중 지성만이 일방적으로 발전함에 따라서 삶을 행복하게 영위할 수 있는 능력은 갈수록 감퇴되고 있다는 것이 현대사회의 실상이다. 이 이 연계전공은 이러한 문제의식 아래 지성 뿐 아니라 감성과 의지가 조화롭게 발전된 건강한 심성과 삶을 행복하게 영위할 수 있는 지혜를 어떻게 형성할 수 있는지에 대해서 연구하는 것을 목표한다. 이를 위해서는 인간에 대한 심리학적인 연구 중에서 양적인 분석방법을 넘어서 질적인 방법을 적극적으로 원용하면서 심성의 종합적이고 건강한 발전을 목표하는 심리학적인 연구와 인간과 문화 그리고 윤리에 대한 철학적인 연구가 결합되어야 할 필요가 있다. 구체적이고 실증적인 심리학적인 연구와 전체적인 시야에서 행해지는 철학적인 연구가 서로 결합됨으로써 인간과 심성 그리고 행복이라는 주제에 대해서 종합적이면서도 심도 있는 연구가 행해질 수 있을 것이다.
