Since our last bulletin, the Health Professions Council has, as we feared been made the regulator for talking therapies, and is charged with developing National Occupational Standards in tandem with its partner SfH (Skills For Health), despite our protestations and those of most psychotherapeutic and psychoanalytic professional bodies. We have written to the Health and Shadow Health Ministers: see the letter HERE. Meanwhile we strongly urge you to write to your MP about this matter.
