Litany of Schist: Denny's menus up again
http://litanyofschist.blogspot.com/2013/02/dennys-menus-up-agian.html
Tuesday, February 19, 2013. Denny's menus up again. Is no stranger to refreshing their menus, it happens on an almost seasonal frequency. This time around they go cross-retro, a nod to the past with a presence in the present. There are some pretty random type styles collected inside, cleaving the menu into distinct sections, tho some are pretty crisp in keeping to the mixed theme. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Litany of Schist: New Label Alert: Life is good!
http://litanyofschist.blogspot.com/2012/05/new-label-alert-life-is-good.html
Tuesday, May 01, 2012. New Label Alert: Life is good! I LOVE the new design for Life Cereal. They stuck with that poor-man's default bevel way too long, and gone are the generic child portraits. Love the new type. Love the crisp, sharp, properly colored bevel. Love the blue bowl. Love the new Quaker standard, with midpoint centered over the e! That's attention to detail, people. Life is my new cereal box hero! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Dashing hero, cheeky artist, and perpetual creative engine.

Kings in the Back Row: Endings and Beginnings
http://mrsrockefeller.blogspot.com/2010/05/endings-and-beginnings.html
Kings in the Back Row. She still keeps all her kings in the back row.". Wednesday, May 19, 2010. I wrote my essay on Hamlet. Everyone dies at the end of Hamlet. I passed. Next week I'll be teaching a sample lesson to an AP class that has already taken the test and is probably counting the days until graduation. As I sat in the waiting area of the administration office for my interview today, a stream of seniors lined up to pick up their caps and gowns. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). 07/27 - 08/03 (1).

Kings in the Back Row: Baby Must Haves
http://mrsrockefeller.blogspot.com/2010/02/baby-must-haves.html
Kings in the Back Row. She still keeps all her kings in the back row.". Wednesday, February 24, 2010. I convinced myself that Lucas needed the above toy. I sent away for it on Amazon. I paid probably close to $17 for it. Turns out he didn't need it. We referred to this toy affectionately as "Boobie Man." Unfortunately, I lie awake at night now imagining where Boobie Man was chucked out of Lucas' carseat. Is he lying in the grass in Golden Gate Park? Has he become a chew toy for a lovely French Bulldog?

Kings in the Back Row: 9 Month Post
http://mrsrockefeller.blogspot.com/2010/05/9-month-post.html
Kings in the Back Row. She still keeps all her kings in the back row.". Monday, May 3, 2010. I love my job. I love my baby. I need my job to support my baby. But I definitely miss those long moments of clarity when I knew that all I had to do was be there for him, and I was doing the right thing. Back to doubt. Back to uncertainty. I have days when Im super strong and being gone all day is no problem. And I have days when I want to quit both my jobs and be home with Graham. One thing Ive learned ...You s...

Kings in the Back Row: In An Alternate Universe
http://mrsrockefeller.blogspot.com/2010/10/in-alternate-universe.html
Kings in the Back Row. She still keeps all her kings in the back row.". Saturday, October 23, 2010. In An Alternate Universe. After the Giants beat the Braves, my mother was very emotional. She said she cried for fifteen minutes because she wished my brother could see this year's Giants. Today as I drove through the gray weather picking up lunch in San Ramon, I imagined the alternate universe that I often do, the one where my brother never got cancer, and never left this world.
