The Jamboree: May 2008
http://thejamboree.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
A blog for the sake of it? Saturday, May 17, 2008. The Only Acceptable Response to a Kansas Joke. When you tell people you are from Kansas, they often respond with some pretty stupid comments. Among the worst are those derived from "The Wizard of Oz." It is never funny. Rob Riggle (The Daily Show) demonstrates that for us here on The Jeannie Tate Show. Which is quite funny in its own right. I would definitely recommend checking out the other episodes. Posted by The Jamboree. Links to this post.

How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Ladybomb: October 2011
http://ladybomb.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Ladybomb. Sunday, October 23, 2011. So, it has been a while since I've posted a blog. I realize that. And I'm sorry. I'm going to try and start posting a lot more regularly. And here is my first post topic in about 6 months: marriage. . . and divorce. But, who knows. Maybe like the libertarian author Ayn Rand taking government benefits near the end of her life, I will get married eventually to a husband with benefits. Labels: marriage divorce weddings.

Vinyl Mine: MacRock Day 2 - the party's over
http://vinyljourney.blogspot.com/2009/04/macrock-day-2-partys-over.html
The songs of my life. Sunday, April 05, 2009. MacRock Day 2 - the party's over. Friday's shows seemed so much better than Saturday for me. Maybe it was the fatigue kicking in - ameliorated no doubt by the bad night's sleep at the Budget Inn motel or whatever it was called - stanky room, rough sheets, thin walls and I found a puddle in the bathroom from somewhere undefined. I got back in time for Whatever Brains. On to Clementine where the initial novelty of Eternal Vacations. 160;totally turned me off&#...

Dreams of Literary Grandeur: November 2009
http://dreamsoflit.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Dreams of Literary Grandeur. One man's attempt to become a professional novelist, poet, and playwright. Monday, November 30, 2009. Movie Review: Red Cliff. An artist's rendition of Zhuge Liang. There is a point in John Woo's Red Cliff. How he achieves this is ingenious, and "ingenious" might be the best word to describe this movie. The fighting techniques employed by the heroes of Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Will make you gasp with awe, and the big battle sequences will remind you of The Two Towers.
