In my defense Brielle has been keeping me super busy! Can you believe she's over 6 months old already? She's been sitting up on her own for well over a month. The ups and downs and all arounds of being first time parents. Wednesday, June 3, 2009. One year ago today. This is how we spent our evening. It was one of the best nights of our lives and I will never forget how it all played out. As soon as we got into the house I took the test into the bathroom. When I was finished I walked out and told Ben we had to wait 2 minutes to get the results. I walked back into the bathroom, a whopping 30 seconds later, and the test already said pregnant! One year ago today.

Monday, December 10, 2012. Saturday, November 3rd - Fenny Stratford. Yep, I know, a month late. It all started with a cunning plan to get the women folk interested in going out to the Halloween party at the local pub. If the guys had a theme costume figured out then the women would feel obliged and everyone wins! Friar Tuck, monks "bring out your dead". And other mass themes were explored. Instead we decided to build a coffin and throw Mike in it! Around 9 we headed down to the pub with our coffin in tow.

Saturday, February 12, 2011. National Motorcycle Museum, West Midlands (Birmingham). This morning I ran over to the National Motorcycle Museum. Probably the most impressive collection of bikes, ever. A "modern" Manx built from new components designed to race in vintage classes. Brough Superior SS100. Specifically the SS100 Sprint favored by T.E. Lawrence. The ups and downs and all arounds of being first time parents. Thursday, June 11, 2009. I haven't talked about it on here but this year I made a New Year's resolution to run a 5k. When I announced it a few people got a good chuckle out of it. I'm sure they were thinking the pregnant woman lost her mind. They probably were right. Will I make it? How will I feel when it's all said and done? So many questions. So much to think about. But I'm trying to relax. Nothing like a runner's high to keep you going!
