Monday, December 31, 2012. I wanted them in the middle of the tree! He said that he put them in order of our life. So the top of the tree was the bridal shower and the wedding and honeymoon. Then the middle of the tree was the purchases of our old townhome and some of our island vacations. So on and so forth. Let's just say I can see why Todd is an engineer. Very analytical. Christmas Eve we went to my grandma's house and Ethan got to be with both grandma's and both great grandmas. What a treat!

Saturday, October 13, 2012. Welcoming Ethan James Davis into this world! Also, we just installed the car seat that past Saturday and on Sunday we bought his take home outfit. We did not have the hospital bag packed. Todd was wonderful. He packed it very calmly and methodically even though I was so upset. His calmness made me feel much better and he kept reminding me that Ethan was only considered 4 days away from being considered "full term.". Stay tuned for the next post about his first week at home.

Saturday, January 12, 2013. Ethan 3 months Old. I cannot believe you are 3 months old already. Sometimes I feel like it was just yesterday we were at the hospital having you and other days it is even further back and I forget what days were like before having you. This month has been really fun because you smile SO much now! You have some other new toys that you got for Christmas that have really seemed to peak your interest. Wednesday, November 7, 2012. First of all you might be thinking - what is a babymoon? The term comes from the phrase honeymoon. A babymoon is the vacation a couple takes before they have a baby. Yes, it is a little corny but I think it is cute. I was planning on posting this before the baby came, but I didn't have a chance to do it since Ethan came early! Friday, November 2, 2012. Ethan's First Holiday - Halloween! Ethan's first holiday in this world was Halloween. Anyone who knows Todd very well will think this is funny because Todd is not the biggest fan of Halloween. He just wants to skip over it and start thinking about Christmas and all the joy it brings our family (from the christmas decorations to the festiveness in the air to the time spent with family). Then we said, "what happens if he is born actually on Halloween? We love our little Mickey!
