Crying Over Pumped Milk. I was 36 when my baby was born, so I’ve spent a lot more time “working” than “mom”. In all those years, there were a lot of times when I stayed late to cover for co-workers with children. I was commended many times for the speed, quality, and high output of my work. I was paid less, but felt that I did more work than my more-experienced colleagues who were also caring for families. My husband is in graduate school, and our master plan is that once he finished and gets a great job...

Crying Over Pumped Milk. Cold turkey and cabbage leaves. November 17, 2016. November 17, 2016. So it’s been 28 hours since our last nursing session, and the munchkin is doing just fine. He took a bottle from me this morning and didn’t seem to mind that it wasn’t the usual milk. This morning, I haven’t pumped for 12 hours, and I’m going to hold off as long as I can stand it. Crying Over Pumped Milk. The milk is back! October 25, 2016. Last week, about midway through my cycle, my milk supply dropped suddenly. The nine-month-old voraciously ate his vegetables. I sent formula to daycare because I couldn’t pump enough milk to get him through the day. I made lactation cookies (yum).
