Pierce Kent and Lincoln Cole our 26 week princes. After a difficult pregnancy and almost 7 weeks of bedrest our twin boys were born 14 weeks early. Wednesday, February 20, 2008. Pierce Kent came home yesterday evening, a day earlier than planned after 209 days in the NICU! We are all very happy to have our baby twins in one house. I survived the first night with twins, very little sleep happening here. I will post more later. Sunday, February 17, 2008. Friday, February 15, 2008. We have a discharge date!

Its been awhile since my last post but nothing exciting has been going on. The girls have been sick but are back to normal. Lincoln is doing really well. He can roll over now! Pierce Kent and Lincoln Cole our 26 week princes. After a difficult pregnancy and almost 7 weeks of bedrest our twin boys were born 14 weeks early. Wednesday, November 28, 2007. Pierce is still in the NICU but we got some good news this week about his lungs. They are healing slowly and showed less scaring on the x-ray. He is so close to pulling the vent out and at that point they will see how he does on CPAP but we arent expecting him to stay on it but its worth the try. Sunday, November 11, 2007.

Pierce Kent and Lincoln Cole our 26 week princes. After a difficult pregnancy and almost 7 weeks of bedrest our twin boys were born 14 weeks early. Tuesday, January 22, 2008. Today marks 181 days in the nicu for Pierce and a great milestone was met. He is finally off of cpap and on nasal cannula. We are so proud of him. We also scheduled his surgery for a g-tube for Feb. 11th. Finally it looks like he will be home in the near future. On the bad news I have a household of sick kids.

Surgery and some on Lincoln. What a big boy he is. Monday, August 27, 2007. Wednesday, August 22, 2007. Friday, August 17, 2007. We are making Progress. And I get to hold him in a little bit for the first time! Wednesday, August 15, 2007. Pierce had His NEC surgery. Thats all I have time to update for today, maybe some more tonight!
