Beyond its psychedelic sounding intro, “1523 Blair” is a savage, fast paced punk song about pain and loneliness. This year my mom let me bake the apple sauce cake which was both exciting and nerve wrecking. I did not want to mess up the cake that has been passed down through my family for multiple generations. The first person that received the recipe from my great great grandmother was my mother and this year she let me bake the cake by myself.
