Skip to Main Content. Do you have a food processor? If so, make these right now. Well, ok, you can wait until breakfast, or the coming weekend, but you really must try these banana pancakes. My pancakes did fall apart a bit when I tried to flip them, but it made no difference to the taste. What these guys lack in form, the make up for in flavour. Another food-processor meal I highly recommend, is this butternut mac’n cheese. April 26, 2015. 8230;wait. did you just disrespect fish? Also, yay, eating more.

Skip to Main Content. So yesterday, as I was (finally) sorting out my sewing room so that I can not only walk into it, but also use it too, I went through all my yarn, putting away the newer volumes that didn’t yet have a home, and wrote down everything that I have. Ravelry’s stash pages are meant for this, but I haven’t always added new buys there. Lace weight: 3.4 kg. Sock/sport weight: 9.6 kg. DK and above: 6.6kg. So, what do I intend to do to get this massive volume of yarn under control? Archie The ...

Skip to Main Content. Yesterday was a fun day. Originally I was due to go to London to catch up with Charlotte. But in a spot of fortuitous timing, we needed to reschedule until March. Why fortuitous? Then only a couple of steps into the room I was told that nothing was over 5. Oh wow! First there was some beautiful teal Scrumptious Lace (50/50 merino/silk I think). Some Malabrigo sock yarn in Solis. A lovely brighter blue-green that doesn’t photograph well. I picked up 400g of Manos Silk Blend in this l...

Skip to Main Content. I’m sure the email writer meant well, but part of me wishes they’d just left it alone. Once upon a time, this sort of thing would cause me to close myself off even more. But I’m trying not to live that way anymore, so instead I’m sharing it here. February 14, 2015. Sending you snowy hugs (calling for 15cm of the white stuff over night). February 14, 2015. Skip to Main Content. A gallery of finishes. A lovely sunny evening on Wednesday meant there was still enough light for a little photo shoot after work, so I had a friend take pics of me with some of my knitting finishes you haven’t seen yet. First up is Raspberry tart. I finished this about a week before xmas, and have worn it a lot since. Such beautiful cables on both the front. And then there is the test knit I started late last month. This is Wildride. March 28, 2015. You’re really on a roll ad...
