Thursday, July 31, 2014. Thursday, July 31, 2014. Friday, July 4, 2014. This past week we had a Large twin tree go down in town on the land we take care of. One went across the alley, the other onto a neighbors shed. I was already in bed when I got the call. It was after Midnight before we got to bed that night. So what can one be thankful for when something like this happens? That the shed held up and will only need minor repair. For friends who want some of the wood and will take some of the tree away.

Sunday, April 20, 2014. Thank You For The Lamb. Today, let us simply be thankful for the Lamb who took our place. Sunday, April 20, 2014. Friday, April 4, 2014. This past week has given me several things to be thankful for. On Monday we had a Major Winter Snow Storm making travel almost impossible. I'm thankful for the safe travel I had home from work and my daughter had to work that day. On Tuesday I was thankful that the snowblower started and worked great as I blew snow for almost 3 hours.

Saturday, April 4, 2015. So, March was not so crazy but it had its moments. Early in the month, with the ground still covered with snow the kids were begging to put up the trampoline. They even went so far as to shovel out all the snow from within the trampolines base and a path around the trampoline. I gave in and with the ground still covered, I helped get the trampoline put up. Saturday, February 28, 2015. February has come to a close and a look back over the month shows surprises can still happen. February also brought a trip to Bemidji for a church retreat. It was a great time and for one of the highlights was going shopping with my wife. I found a couple pair of pajamas on sale and got some new pants - for an upcoming wedding. Somewhere in all of this I received my annual revied at work and it went well. Time will also tell what adventures await our family in March.

Sunday, December 28, 2014. The 3 Days of Christmas. For our family this year we celebrated the three days of Christmas. On the third day of Christmas - Dec 25th - we came home and sometime after supper we again opened presents minus one daughter who was at her fiancee's parent's house. This time I received candy, underwear, coupons for hugs, a key chain and a coupon for a Veggie Tales movie. After all of that I still had three days to recuperate. Friday, December 5, 2014.
