http://alligatorsnroadkill.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Monday, May 12, 2014. Somewhere on a street in West El Paso. During a family gathering yesterday (Mothers' Day), we planned our next outing. This time we invited John, Jr's, bro-in-law/compadre, "G," to go with us. This morning, I talked to John over the phone, and we then decided that while they were going to ride their Harleys, I would go ahead and meet them at a local place known for having a huge selection of beer on tap, The Hoppy Monk. They also reportedly have a great burger. I shoulda known better.

Alligators 'n Roadkill: March 2015
http://alligatorsnroadkill.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 5, 2015. How do I go about obtaining a decent television signal, with channels that I might actually want, for a fair price? Failing this, why can't I get a good internet connection at a fair price? I have AT&T's UVerse for television and for internet. Internet is very important to me, since I spend a lot of time online. And, there are some television programs that I like to watch on a regular basis. That turned out to be just more time wasted. Apparently, no one is willing to offer the c...

Thursday, June 18, 2015. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.". The America where I grew up taught me a lot, and I am the proud product of a public school education. One thing I recall is that we were taught that friends should never discuss politics or religion, especially if they wanted to stay friends. More than that, however, is that we were taught that government and religion must and should always be totally and completely separate. Now, today we seem to have a very sharp division between...

Thursday, July 24, 2014. It is no longer just Whataburger. Well, we have resumed our search for that perfect burger back home, and we have a new burger place. Blake's Lotaburger has made it to Far East El Paso, Texas. That's right. This formerly exclusive to New Mexico tradition (since 1952) has begun to spread into Texas with their second El Paso location! So, what have we learned? Blake's Lotaburger is better than Whataburger, but ain't gonna gain no big raves any time soon. Links to this post.
