The band was formed in 1969 and had its first rehearsal in Wareham Dorset - hence the Purbeck tag. Since then the band has performed in many venues in the south of England and has a loyal following of concert and dancing audiences. With a library of over 700 titles ranging from ‘old time’ to big band jazz, the band can cater for most musical tastes. Over the years the band has performed at many charity events and raised many thousands of pounds for good causes. The band is Ridgeway Radio’s.
