According to today's newspaper, we've more than doubled Seattle's rainfall total for the year - 42 inches compared to Seattle's measly 18.05. WTF, Mother Nature? Thursday, July 11, 2013. Sunday, June 24, 2012. Nobody Loves You Better . Than a big brother! I love that, coincidentally, there's a shot of every sibling pair combination possible. Amidst our fair share of bickering, it's reassuring to know that they actually do love each other. A lot. The beach is always one of our favorite destinations, but it felt especially great this year that nobody was trying to eat the sand. Celebrate every milestone, people. How is this possible? But his BIG gift was revealed as the garage door went up .

Saturday, November 17, 2012. A couple of Saturday mornings ago, I happened upon this scene in our bedroom:. Jess seemed a bit underdressed for the occasion, but perfection anyway.. We were so proud when we learned that Ben was selected to play in his baseball league's all-star game. It was a special "exhibition" game held after the regular season, with two teams made up of players from each of the league's teams. Bigger bonus: Ben's team won the game! We've had a lot of holiday fun the past couple of weeks - picking out our tree, visiting Santa, making a gingerbread train, seeing the Christmas show at the symphony, and on and on. Here are a few highlights:. Children's Christmas Concert at church. Ben was in the "Amazing Grace Race," thus the running clothes. Noah playing his tone block. Eliza wouldn't smile, but no tears!
