I have been painting and cleaning and scrubbing and cleaning and scrubbing and scrubbing and painting. And fighting fleas. The carpets were infested with them when we moved in. They played pool for a while and then had a picnic outside. It was so beautiful out that they decided to take a bunch (over 100) of pictures. The Joy of the Lord is My Strength. The joys in the life of a homeschooling, fiddle playing mom. March 31, 2015. One really doesn’t have much to do with the other, but hey…. I’ll be talking about both.😉. First, I apologize that my tomorrow”ish” is more “ish” than tomorrow. We don’t have internet service out at the lodge, so I only get online at the church. So, where are we going after the end of April? I have very fond memories of this camp, and the youth we took to this camp. I am very excited to go!

Be still, and know that I am God (Psalm 46:10). Saturday Aug (Already…Can you believe it? We have a flower bed! It has come a long way since this…taken the 1st of June. My pole beans are looking good but the bush beans didn’t come up well…I’m thinking of (next weekend) planting my cover crop seeds where I planted the bush beans…Let it all grow together. I finished my skorts that match the plaid blouse….they are very comfortable…I like the skirt/short combo! Quite a basket of cherry tomatoes…. Aug 26, 2015.

Be still, and know that I am God (Psalm 46:10). 1 Small Potato per person cut into large cubes w/skin. 1/2 Carrot per person chopped. Go ahead and start boiling these do not overcook. In a deep skillet w/olive oil brown:. 1 Yellow Squash per person. 1/2 Zucchini per person. Mushrooms as desired (I like a lot and get all of Frieda’s too)(lucky me). Remove from skillet.then. Add more olive oil to skillet if needed. Then caramelize (brown nicely) 1/2 Very Large Onion per person. Best if eaten with sour cream.

Be still, and know that I am God (Psalm 46:10). Remember all the ivy around the house when we moved in? I started working on it, but Jose had mercy on me and hired someone to clean it all out. But…All that ivy was hiding something…. Looks like they tried to fill the crack with expandable foam. Our garbage disposal went bad…. My shower is leaking onto the downstairs ceiling…. Be still, and know that I am God (Psalm 46:10). I have a few outside projects I have been working on…slowly…. I finally got the front flower bed/garden mulched…and the tomatoes staked…. Also bought a few concrete blocks for my future flower bed….a work in progress…. That is 3 cubic yards of dirt we bought and had delivered…. Hopefully enough for the flower bed and a future raised bed garden…🙂. I can’t believe I have a 14 year old Grandson. He was just 5…where does the time go? Follow Blog via Email.

Be still, and know that I am God (Psalm 46:10). My beans are coming up! I took this about 3 PM and my garden is already starting to get shade. I hope I got them planted in time to get a harvest. I got the flower bed filled with dirt and covered with leaf mulch…I still have enough dirt left to give the flower bed another layer…Jose suggested that I add another row of blocks and make the bed deeper…I like that idea! Be still, and know that I am God (Psalm 46:10). I got my second raised bed garden up and filled AND planted! I couldn’t resist planting some green beans. Jose and I went to the Tanglewood Farmers Market Saturday morning where I bought some green beans…four dollars and eighty cents for about a pound and a half! I planted some Rattlesnake pole beans at the bottom of the fence and Roma II Italian bush green beans in two rows about 6 inches apart. I have the Best Husband in the Whole World! 🙂 I love it!

Be still, and know that I am God (Psalm 46:10). We have agreed to buy a 2008 Mazda5! Not what we were looking for but a great deal and we both love it. We haven’t actually bought it yet…the dealer needed to do some paperwork first…. Here is a picture of one that is close in color…. I will get some actual pictures after we buy it. Spring arrived this week…. Hyacinths…love the smell…. Thankfully the previous owner planted about 20 bulbs out front! Looks like I need to weed the hyacinth bed…🙂. I have a job!
