Tuesday, February 2, 2010. Ella is not going to be 2 until March. But she likes to wear the other kids clothes a lot. I assumed it was random. She's been doing it forever. Especially in the mornings. But then, today, she was dressing in her motley assortment of clothes, and I was astounded. She put on a shirt and said, "Michael", and it was his. Probably due to the fact I still can't reconcile the idea that he is almost in high school. He's such a sweet affectionate boy and is quite the computer whiz and is working hard at learning Japanese. The big things that happened? Max was born in 2011. Henry was born in 2013. Rachel's photography business (Pure) has been going great and so has the action/preset business Pure Actions. Monday, December 21, 2009. Darwin was bathing McKay for church, and McKay was quite resistant to the idea of his hair being washed. Darwin: You need to get your hair washed for church. Thursday, April 29, 2010. Because Spring is beautiful. It's been so long since I've posted. I don't know why I always feel like I need something really amazing to post about. When I read blogs, especially of people I know, I usually just like to know what's up in their lives. What are their little triumphs and what are their daily concerns. I need to get better about doing that again. I will gladly take the extra laundry if it means that the days of warm weather, outdoor fun, and social times are back.

Saturday, February 8, 2014. Sometimes things go smoothly and perfectly. Sometimes life has no bumps. There's no worries and I can just focus on being a super mom and wife and it all comes so easily. But that happened like, once. Back in maybe 2003. Most of the times it's controlled chaos. I'm winging it and hanging on for dear life. With seven kids and two busy businesses, and autism thrown into the mix, sometimes I am hanging on with maybe one or two fingers. Usually, I think it is a pretty good thing.
