Enlightened Sixth Sense: February 2008
http://kbcast.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html
Unfortunately there is only one train that covering the entire stretch, Bangalore till Tuticorin. Getting a ticket in this train is like watching first day, first show of a Rajnikanth movie. You have to plan three months in advance and book it accordingly(Thanks to railway department for increasing the advance reservation period to three months! Typically the process of booking ticket in this train has the following steps. My choice of train travel is only due to the comfortability factor in it. But t...

Enlightened Sixth Sense: May 2008

Today I was chatting with my colleague. The topic eventually turned towards our college life. He was mentioning about a chemistry lecturer who had "Englishphobia". I found it really funny. Here are some snippets. In the chemistry lab some guy was supposed to mix some acid with some other. This should be done drop by drop. But our guy tried to pour it at one shot. Lecturer spotted it and the following statement says the rest,. POUR POUr POur Pour pour pou ! Links to this post. But one of my friend finds s...

Enlightened Sixth Sense: September 2007
http://kbcast.blogspot.com/2007_09_01_archive.html
India at its best. With India turning 60 on August 15,2007 I tried to review the strides taken since independence. I spent some time to ruminate over few questions that have perturbed me over the past few years. I can't say i have an answer but tried to develop my own hypothesis. I was wondering if there is anything common among the Indians aside from our passport? Links to this post. To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield. Beautiful line from the poem Ulysses that summarizes everything said above.

Enlightened Sixth Sense: June 2008

Software Engineers are not criminals! I got a chance to watch two absolutely fanatical Tamil movies that portrayed software engineers as the curse of the human society. I really could not comprehend this negative sentiment. Why such a sick, sinful, highly exaggerated display is required in a filthy movie? I m sure that every software engineer will be looking for an alternate career option than being a couch potato, staying away from his families most of the time. A software engineer loses so much to earn...

Enlightened Sixth Sense: Been a while
http://kbcast.blogspot.com/2009/04/been-while.html
It has been a while since I scribbled anything in my blog. It is all attributed to the change in my designation. I AM A STUDENT AGAIN! I excused myself by one way or the other to stay away from blogging. I wanted to write about,. 1 How I got my visa,. I didn't do anything special here. My parents prepared all the necessary docs and I got it with ease. 2 The excitement I had when I landed in New York,. 3 First day class,. 4 The culture I observed here,. 5 Trip to New York city. New way to blog! Musings of...

Night out in Bangalore. Mention or not, the restaurant was making the most out of it. The weird fact is that, the people out there were very different from the regular faces. Where these guys come from? Links to this post. That was really funny. Links to this post. Our auto driver accelerated his BMW (He had that symbol all over his vehicle! My train was late by one and half hours. After all, there is some justice in this world and god has shown some mercy on us. After boarding, my friend was praying as u...

Enlightened Sixth Sense: December 2007

Read a funny one. Thought of sharing some excerpts from it. Did you folks hear about the latest Microsoft Excel Fiasco? Apparently, Excel 2007 can't do simple multiplication! Typing 850 x 77.1 gives the answer as 100,000 instead of the correct 65,535. I'm not kidding. Let me be the first to say that this is not a bug, it's a feature. People familiar with this situation will have heard of this legend:. Q: How many Bill Gates' does it take to change a light bulb? And Galileo challenged that? The room turns...

Enlightened Sixth Sense: Kamalhassan -An Unparalled artist
http://kbcast.blogspot.com/2008/06/kamalhassan-unparalled-artist.html
Kamalhassan -An Unparalled artist. That is so evident in this particular movie. He has weaned himself out of the traditional Indian formula movies and has elevated himself to a new dimension. No wonder, he has the distinction of being the actor with the most number of films submitted by India in contest for the academy award for best foreign language film. I am not arguing that god does not exist but I think it would be really good if god exists". June 18, 2008 at 4:20 AM. View my complete profile.
