Don't Tread On St. Louis. Monday, April 26, 2010. I Don't Have To Tell You Things Are Bad. I don't have to tell you things are bad. Everybody knows things are bad." Peter Finch as Howard Beale in Network. What is the cause of this corruption? How did we stray so far from the intent of our founders? Why is it that so many people have lost faith in their government while at the same time relying on it so much? Why is it that things are bad? What is the solution? We need to take responsibility for our actio...

Don't Tread On St. Louis. Monday, March 22, 2010. So, How Does It Feel To Wake Up In A Socialist Country? The good news, Missouri is among the many states considering legislation to block the Federal healthcare takeover on the grounds it is not Constitutional. In Missouri it is called the Healthcare Freedom Act and is doing well so far. If this passes it would mean anyone in Missouri would not have to sign up for Obamacare. And hopefully, because of this, more people will wake up to the fact that our fre...

http://donttreadonstl.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Don't Tread On St. Louis. Friday, January 22, 2010. Yesterday at the Kirkwood City Council meeting there was a presentation of a mediation agreement between Kirkwood and the Meacham Park (a mainly black section of Kirkwood) residents. This agreement was facilitated by the U.S. Department Of Justice. The meetings between the two parties were held in secret. After the presentation a resolution was passed putting the agreement into effect. I have three thoughts on this. One, why is the DOJ involved? Ok, so ...

Don't Tread On St. Louis: May 2010
http://donttreadonstl.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Don't Tread On St. Louis. Wednesday, May 12, 2010. Chuck Purgason For U.S. Senate. There are currently 9 candidates in the Republican primary race for Kit Bond's senate seat. All of the candidates are running on somewhat of a limited government platform. Out of these 9, only 2 have an actual voting record. The other 7, say they're for limiting government, but how can you be sure they're not just trying to ride the current wave of public opinion? So that basically leaves us with two choices - Roy Blunt.
