July 5, 2015. July 5, 2015. Getting Back on Track. Took some time off during vacation. Not much exercise. I ran both Saturday and Sunday when I got back from vacation. I knew I would gain weight on vacation. It wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. Time to get serious. I am picking up a run day this week in my training. Mon – rest. Tues – 3 miles. Wed – rest. A Step in the Right Direction. June 20, 2015. June 20, 2015. It’s my first day of Summer Vacation and I woke up at 6:30 am on purpose. I met my buddy runner today at one of our local lakes for a 2 mile run (walk and run). I had to walk a bit, but all in due time. My min/mi was a bit higher because I forgot to turn off my app while I was chatting for five minutes in the parking lot. (Whoops). I can do this. Watch me do this. June 21, 2015. June 21, 2015. Getting into the swing of things. Waking up to exercise has continued to be a challenge. Eating healthy is also a challenge but I did better this week. I got up early and ran two days this week 🙂. Last week’s weight. Down a little. I’ll take it. I am doing a 21 Day Arm Challenge. Running 3 miles today (already done, did 3.78), 2 miles Tuesday, 2 miles Thursday, and 2 miles Saturday. Pictures from today’s run. I can do this. Watch me do this. A Step in the Right Direction.

Bad A* ery Continues. June 27, 2015. I’m on a family vacation at Ocean City, MD and I went for a run all by myself. I woke up early, laced my shoes, and went for a run. It was even raining a bit. June 23, 2015. I woke up at 6:30 am today to go for a run all alone. I woke up! I didn’t hit snooze. I didn’t skip my run. I did it. And I did it well. I even took less walk breaks. I can’t express how proud I am of myself. I knew this summer I was going to make a change for the better. I am taking it one day at a time…. one run at a time. I can do this. Watch me do this. July 4, 2015. July 4, 2015. I just spent a great week at the beach with my family. I didn’t blog because I didn’t take my computer and I just wanted to enjoy my time with my family. I did run one day but took the rest of the week off. That being said, back to the training today. Today’s run was a slow one but I got it done. View from today.
