Pointless Meandering: New Instrument
http://pointless-meandering.blogspot.com/2007/08/new-instrument.html
Disconnected Trickle of Consciousness From a Cluttered Mind. Wednesday, August 22, 2007. Since Ryan has started fourth grade, he was able to pick an instrument in either the band or orchestra. He has picked the violin. Tonight we went to his school and rented his first violin. I expect we won't see our cat much over the next few months. First attempt to play on the new violin. Pointless Meandering: Sewing
http://pointless-meandering.blogspot.com/2009/04/sewing.html
Disconnected Trickle of Consciousness From a Cluttered Mind. Friday, April 10, 2009. I liked this picture, although I'm not sure the subjects wanted me to take the photo. Good shot. I confess, though, that I am completely at sea as to what Gwen is making. Gwen was sewing on edging for a throw blanket. Lucy was suggesting that I probably shouldn't take the photo. Pointless Meandering: October 2007
http://pointless-meandering.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html
Disconnected Trickle of Consciousness From a Cluttered Mind. Tuesday, October 30, 2007. About three weeks ago, I went on a little hike up a mountain with Ryan and a friend from work. About 50 yards from the car I was attacked by a vicious rock on the trail which had the audacity to slip off the side of the trail, causing me to roll an ankle. We ended up going up the mountain anyways, having a good hike. Just when the weather is getting nicer. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

I had heard that there was supposed to be a particularly bright pass of the International Space Station last night, so I figured I would try to get some photos. I was able to get some reasonably good 15 second exposures. Here are a couple of examples.

Disconnected Trickle of Consciousness From a Cluttered Mind. Tuesday, August 21, 2007. Time for a few more photos from the new camera. Earlier in the summer Ryan and I went to a Diamondbacks game. We had great tickets about 8 rows up just beyond first base. After Sunday home games, kids get to run around the bases. I tried to get pictures of him running the bases but had blurring issues (noob photographer with a new camera). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

Freaky Knitter, knitting without fear!: Tiny Bubble Socks
http://k1p2freakyknitter.blogspot.com/2008/10/tiny-bubble-socks.html
Freaky Knitter, knitting without fear! Saturday, October 4, 2008. I am so happy and I really enjoyed working on these. They look more difficult than they are and I think you will enjoy knitting them up. They would be beautiful in any sock yarn and are shown here in the Indie Dyer Supersock Select; Boogey Man. I want some so bad, guess I need to finish the quilt I am working on so I can get knitting! October 5, 2008 at 11:36 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Who is Freaky Knitter?
