Nov 12th, 2013 at 8:49 PM. Someone made a nest in the heater vent of the car so it had to be replaced. Schneider the groundhog dug out a burrow under the deck and we have to fill it back in - there's a big hole where the stairs go into the ground. The thousand house sparrows have decided our screens make great nesting material and have removed a three inch tall strip across the entire bottom of at least 3 of the window screens. We got some fixin to do! Big pieces of poop. Godiva chocolate walnut muffins.

The mystery of the shattered window. Nov 13th, 2013 at 1:59 PM. We are now thinking that the culprit was not Dubbins, but was the lovely stained glass Wisteria window film we had on the window. it's double-paned, and gets a ton of sun. it was probably the dark film making the glass heat up and trying to expand and the lighter areas trying not to expand. This looked like a real stained glass window, too. it was gorgeous to look up at outside at night, with the light on in the room. Big pieces of poop.
