http://westcoastwhitewater.blogspot.com/2008/09/norrish-creek.html
Picture of the week. James Chandler, Norrish Creek, Mission British Columbia. Tuesday, September 2, 2008. Labour day long" creekend. Creek or " Gnarr. Creek" as some of the locals have come to nickname it, is one of the best grade 4/4 creeks in the Fraser Valley . . . so far. Beings that its only 20 minutes from my door and easy access, it was only a matter of time before I had to do a post on it. Norrish. Creek serves up a huge dose of fun drops, awesome. Classic BC style 4/4 creeking. Any higher. 3...

FVWW: The Chilliwack River
http://westcoastwhitewater.blogspot.com/2008/01/chilliwack-river.html
Picture of the week. James Chandler, Norrish Creek, Mission British Columbia. Monday, January 14, 2008. My local River is the Chilliwack. It is about 25 minutes from my front door in Abbotsford, British Columbia. It offers a wide variety of whitewater for people of all levels, except for you grade 5 ers. But there are some creeks in the Chilliwack. River valley and surrounding. Ranges that will keep your grade 5 itch well scratched. The Chilliwack. River is located in, oddly. Creek, which has a decent.

Gradient Stormchasers: January 2015
http://gradientstormchasers.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
A Whitewater kayaking blog. Friday, January 30, 2015. This winter, after my return from a course with work in Ontario which unfortunately caused me to miss the autumn season in Quebec/The Northeast besides Moosefest I headed for a long drive down to Mexico solo to see what I could find. First off, if you ever plan to drive to Mexico here are some quick pointers that will make things better:. I recommend not having a flashy/new car, or at least dumb it down a bit. I found the ugliest set of rims I cou...

Gradient Stormchasers: October 2013
http://gradientstormchasers.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
A Whitewater kayaking blog. Tuesday, October 29, 2013. I'd never done Tumwater and only ever seen it between 9000 and 16000 cfs, where it looks every bit the big water class V maelstrom that it is at those levels, so I really didn't know what to expect. Saturday night we spent some time sampling the Leavenworth nightlife and enjoying some local Bavarian dishes (the whole town is like a Bavarian themed Whistler), it was a great time with some heavy alcohol consumption and designated drivers of course!

Gradient Stormchasers: August 2014
http://gradientstormchasers.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
A Whitewater kayaking blog. Monday, August 18, 2014. Well it's been about a month I've lived in Shannon, a small town just outside Quebec City now, and after running out of food, clean clothes and having the garbage pile up enough I figure it's time to take a day off paddling to take care of some things and do some writing. I've been really lucky since arriving as we've had more rain than normal leading to above average summer water levels for a good sustained amount of time, wich has been sick! I also g...

FVWW: Cameron Creek
http://westcoastwhitewater.blogspot.com/2008/06/cameron-creek.html
Picture of the week. James Chandler, Norrish Creek, Mission British Columbia. Monday, June 2, 2008. On our way to the annual Puntledge. River Festival this year the Western Canoeing. Kayaking team met up with local island white water guru , Shane Volmers. Of this difficulty, was really awesome. You can only run the same drop blind once and that's when its best. In true Vancouver Island Classic style this amazing. Little gem ends with a death hike out of gorge danm. And Jayson Clarke running a nugget drop.
