Enjoy! 5 medium beets, cleaned with 1-inch stem remaining. 2 large shallots, peeled. 2 teaspoons olive oil. 1 large red onion, thinly sliced. 2 cup white wine vinegar. 3 teaspoons sea or kosher salt (with no anti-caking agent). The project as it appears on the Martha Stewart website. What it looked like when I did the project. The Martha Stewart brand patterning tape and pouncer set. I used a paper punch for the polka dots. The paint stretched when I removed the tape. It looked terrible! Do not try this project. October 27, 2013.

Monthly Archives: June 2014. June 23, 2014. This bright colored dressing is bursting with flavor. It’s super easy to make with only 4 main ingredients. It’s perfect on the lettuce of your choice. Enjoy it plain or add your favorite salad toppings. 1/4 teaspoon Dijon mustard. 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic. 2 1/4 teaspoon champagne vinegar. 2 tablespoon olive oil. Salt and pepper to taste. Add mustard, garlic, and champagne vinegar and mix using a small whisk or fork. Mix well. Season with salt and pepper.

July 27, 2014. This simple soup is delicious and nutritious. Top it with sea salt, cracked pepper, olive oil and Parmesan cheese, if desired, for a boost of flavor. 1 tablespoon olive oil. 32 oz good quality vegetable stock or broth. Salt, pepper, olive oil, and Parmesan cheese to taste. Drizzle oil into large stock pot and warm pan. Add chopped onion and garlic to pan, stir, and reduce heat to medium. Cook until soft and golden brown. Bring ingredients to a rolling boil. Carefully ladle into a blender.

September 15, 2014. 5 Minute Craft–DIY Ribbon Belt. This ribbon belt looks so great that it’s hard to believe it’s so easy to make! All you need is black ribbon and diamond ribbon, both available at your local craft or fabric store. I picked these up at Michaels. Glue the diamond ribbon on the black ribbon and you are done! I used hot glue, but I bet another type of glue would also work well. You can prevent the edges of the ribbon from fraying by sealing with fray check. This entry was posted in DIY.

September 17, 2014. The best thing about this stock is that there isn’t a strict recipe! You can use whatever vegetables you have in the fridge! This stock is very economical and much lower in sodium than store bought stocks. Add vegetables to a large stock pot. Add enough water to fill your stock pot. Bring water to a boil.
