I'm not sure where I saw it first, but as soon as I saw Purple Panda Quilts. Request for individuals to make stockings for kids in foster care situations, I knew I had to make one.or two. I knew I could do it since I made stockings for us last year. It was just a matter of buying some appropriate fabric and getting to work. I sure hope these stockings can help brighten the holidays for a couple kids who deserve a smile or two! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Flickr: Things I've Made. View my complete profile.

Bags, Clothing, and Accessories. Teaching & Events. Ribbon Star Block Tutorial. My 4×5 Modern Quilt Bee. Blocks really grew on me as I worked on them I think the ones with the white backgrounds look especially fab. So thanks to everyone who weighed in and gave me some encouragement about this block. Without it, I probably would have moved on to yet another design! And since people seemed to like it, how about a tutorial? This is my take on a traditional Christmas Star block. It would. To make the block:.

What were we thinking?: January 2012
http://selina-whatwerewethinking.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 21, 2012. I am turning 30 this week. In a few short days actually. I am fine with this. In fact I'm kinda looking forward to it. Especially my party. I am having a big one! Inviting everyone and dancing the night away. I needed dancing shoes, so I looked on the internet, as you do. Yeah, right. Where would I wear them after? But still, a bit pricey. So I made some. And made these using. Friday, January 20, 2012. I've actually been crafting! First, this dollhouse for my niece.

What were we thinking?: August 2010
http://selina-whatwerewethinking.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 9, 2010. I recently went on a little holiday to Sydney with my gorgeous mother's group and had the luck to book a session with the talented Alinta from Capturing Life's Colour. She is one of the fabulous photographers we had for the wedding. I got my cd back today and just have to add some pictures of my littlest baby and me. I am trying to convince her to come to Melbourne next year when Pepper is a bit bigger to do family shots. Anyone else want a session? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

What were we thinking?: November 2010
http://selina-whatwerewethinking.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 11, 2010. So, Christmas is just around the corner. I am getting ready, revelling in the warmer weather and preparing for what is for us, the very busy season. I've just started school, Hunter is going to school next year and Levi is off to kinder so we've been doing lots of transition sessions. Then we have Christmas and then it's birthday week. Then the juggling starts for reals! Here is the Shutterfly website. They also have other products, like personalised ornaments.
