Kurent is one of the characters from rich etnographic culture heritage. In the past the procession of log-haulers was the event the entire village. The old woman carrying the old man. The Old woman carrying the old man or the Old man carrying the old woman is the mask known in numerous European countries. In the region of Ptuj this mask is very popular as it can be related to an old man and woman who, by their human figure, represent spirits of the dead. Mestna občina Ptuj 2016.
