PuzzleMad: Not too chicken to pull its' legs off!
http://www.puzzlemad.co.uk/2015/05/not-too-chicken-to-pull-its-legs-off.html
A mechanical puzzle blog from a grown man who should know better! Sunday, 3 May 2015. Not too chicken to pull its' legs off! It's a wooden chicken. I didn't realise until after I had posted but this is my 300th blog post since I began 4 years ago in March 2011! What a lot of puzzling experience! What a lot of cash gone! Luckily this commemorative post (and the next) are about the work of truly fabulous craftsmen. Eric Fuller recently put up an update on his Cubic dissection. And I was caught by surprise!

PuzzleMad: Creative Crafthouse - Soma cube (craftsman edition)
http://www.puzzlemad.co.uk/2011/03/creative-crafthouse-soma-cube-craftsman.html
A mechanical puzzle blog from a grown man who should know better! Sunday, 27 March 2011. Creative Crafthouse - Soma cube (craftsman edition). Another puzzle I bought from Creative Crafthouse. Was a rather nice medium sized Soma cube made from rubberwood, stored in a matching well made box. Puzzle collections should include a Soma cube! I had one made from mahogany when I was a kid and I have no idea what happened to it! It is not particularly difficult but does require some thought. I say again that All.

A mechanical puzzle blog from a grown man who should know better! Sunday, 14 June 2015. Funzzle Puzzles - Beta followed by some PAIN! Funnzle puzzle - Beta. This is the last of my Puzzle Master. I really must get back to them and place another order soon but I seem to have been pretty busy recently. In fact I have been so busy that I have had a huge number of deliveries over the last few weeks (see here. For a shameful list) and actually not had time to do any more than unpack them and take photos! The P...

PuzzleMad: Not a box! A sequential discovery puzzle with a cavity!
http://www.puzzlemad.co.uk/2014/09/not-box-sequential-discovery-puzzle.html
A mechanical puzzle blog from a grown man who should know better! Sunday, 28 September 2014. A sequential discovery puzzle with a cavity! It's a sequential discovery puzzle! It is a standing joke amongst the puzzling community (mostly MPP guys but now some of the IPP guys too) that for someone who doesn't collect puzzle boxes, I do seem to have some absolutely stunning examples in my collection! Why do I do this? It's to save my sanity and my bank account from total annihilation! That when the Stickman.

It's not a box! It's a packing puzzle! The decision on the winners of the 2015 IPP design competition. Should have been decided by now so I can safely publish my review of my latest toy! I had heard rumours of a collaboration between the Stickman. Robert Yarger) and the incredible William Waite. Buy a box if t...

http://www.puzzlemad.co.uk/2015/08/part-1-of-two-fer-in-honour-of-ipp35.html
A mechanical puzzle blog from a grown man who should know better! Sunday, 9 August 2015. Part 1 of a "Two fer" in Honour of IPP35 - Hemi-spheres Puzzle. Puzzle - looks simple doesn't it? Last year was my first ever attendance at the international puzzle party and I had the most amazing time finally meeting puzzle friends from all over the world. I dragged the present Mrs S with me and she had a good time too (even if it was non-puzzling) - I was very proud that there were barely any Whack! Yes it’s...

PuzzleMad: Labyrinth from SiamMandalay
http://www.puzzlemad.co.uk/2015/07/labyrinth-from-siammandalay.html
A mechanical puzzle blog from a grown man who should know better! Sunday, 12 July 2015. I can dismantle puzzles but really struggle to assemble the buggers! A little while ago I received a contact from Sean Allen of SiamMandalay.com. Asking whether I’d be interested in reviewing one of his shop’s puzzles. I have been aware of Sean for a while as he has been the author of several rather cerebral articles in various places as well as on his personal blog. His latest article on disentanglement puzzles.

PuzzleMad: Time to rename Wil Strijbos - "The Puzzle Pusher"
http://www.puzzlemad.co.uk/2011/12/im-going-to-rename-wil-strijbos-hes.html
A mechanical puzzle blog from a grown man who should know better! Saturday, 24 December 2011. Time to rename Wil Strijbos - "The Puzzle Pusher". More goodies from Wil. Wil is officially my puzzle pusher! In the same email I asked him about the future production of other puzzles. During a little to and fro of emails he copied in the whole group of puzzlers! His own response was to berate me for asking for more puzzles when they would be the cause of my demise! PUSHER" of the puzzle-drug! I have to say tha...
