I made mini biscuits for Easter Brunch but this would work fine with full sized biscuits as well. So the most important thing is making really good biscuits. 1 3/4 cups Flour. 4 tsp Baking Powder. 3/4 tsp Pink Salt. 1/4 tsp Baking Soda. 1 cup Whole Milk. 2 tbsp Chilled Butter, diced. 2 tbsp Shortening or Coconut Oil. 1 tbsp Fresh Lemon Juice. Place them on a baking sheet.

Lox at Cherry Hill RV Park in Washington DC. I highly recommend this park if you are planning a trip. Poor Lox hadn't realized that the trip was just beginning. We made a point of doing a lot of site seeing while in San Antonio. The above picture is from Seaworld. A sketch of the stingrays I saw and fed at Seaworld. Koi Fish and Turtle. This past week, I haven’t been sleeping well. I’m not sure why. Going to sleep is taking longer, staying asleep isn’t happening. Life as a mom with chronic migraines. Cartwright’s Backroad Guitars. Mother’s Day Zentangles. Yesterday was a pretty good day. My girls made wind chimes out of tiny clay pots and beads. They are really quite cute. I also received this wonderful book. These first two were done last week, before I got my book. This one is the first from the book that I did. It’s the only one I’m not happy with. It’s called Static. These next two turned out much better. They are called Tipple and Crescent Moon. May 11, 2015.

Cream of Broccoli Soup. Even though it's fall, it's still hot in New Mexico. So Cream of Broccoli soup sounded light but filling enough for the 80s weather here. This recipe is lighter than some other recipes. I have replaced the cream with half and half. If you like a creamer soup change it back. 2 tbsp Olive Oil.
