Misc. Takes: July 2009
http://misctakes.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
A selection of occasional Miscellaneous Takes and random ramblings. Sunday, July 19, 2009. A Moment of Silence, please. And Kim said, "No." And I said "Yes, he just went past you down the hall." and vanished. And Kim said "No." And I remembered and knew that if I hadn't watched him die I still wouldn't believe it. And this morning Kim woke up at 7:30, thinking how surprised she was that The Cat let her sleep so late. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Portrait of the Author as a Not-So-Young-Anymore Man.

A selection of occasional Miscellaneous Takes and random ramblings. Sunday, April 25, 2010. I think it's time to get back to Deathe, the little village in Michigan's Upper Peninsula where strange things happen. Maybe something new will happen. Misc. Takes: Election Year Again
http://misctakes.blogspot.com/2010/10/election-year-again.html
A selection of occasional Miscellaneous Takes and random ramblings. Thursday, October 7, 2010. I'm at an age where I can look back on election campaigns of the past and remember, seeing ads on TV, thinking: "I like that guy! I want to vote for him! Of course about 90% of the time the guys I see on TV were not in my voting district, hence not on my ballot, so I couldn't vote for them, and the names that were on my ballot were totally unfamiliar to me. But that's another story.). I'm going to vote for him!

http://awritingpassage.blogspot.com/2010_11_07_archive.html
Friday, November 12, 2010. With the birth of my daughter, I received the gift of seeing my child’s nakedness. There was no shyness, no awkwardness, not even a thought this would change. As she grew into her toddler years, her baths became adventures, not just a time to get clean. And I continued to have the privilege of seeing her nakedness, sometimes as she ran through the house dripping wet and giggling, with me chasing after her with a fluffy towel. I watched as her body began to change into adolescen...

It often comes in disguise as "writers block," but in reality is just mean negativity. With my blog, I want to provide suggestions on how to overcome these little and big varmints, and then provide support for when they weasel their way back in. Links to this post. Wednesday, November 24, 2010. Prompt, First Line and Question. With Thanksgiving just around the bend, it is fitting to somehow connect our writing activities with the holiday. So here we go .
