Wednesday, January 31, 2007. I discovered a new music service, it is funny! You can use your voice to search music, basically you sing into your microphone and then it guesses what song it is. The Police originally came together in London in 1977, they are certainly one of the greatest bands of the 80s and had a great influence on the 90s. It was my favorite band for a long time. They will reunite at the 2007 Grammy Awards on February 11, that's a great new for me, at least! Monday, January 29, 2007.

Is a set of bindings that allows programmers to access Qt4. Library using Python for Maemo. The actual version only works with OS2008 [DIABLO]. Official release for Maemo. Sep 24, 2008. This release was generated against Qt4 for Maemo. Providing Python bindings to it. Installation should be done manually since this project is a library and does not show up in Application Manager. Instructions on how to install can be found here.

From blogger import luck. PyMaemo has bdist maemo support. PyMaemo has now bdist maemo. Support inside distutils module. I'll try to bring more updates to the PythonLauncher. Now about scratchbox, it seems that this new sbox-core-1.0.9 has a problem with packaging. It was impossible to generate PyMaemo using this version. I'll do some more further investigations. This one includes bugfixes, new packages (osso-help and osso-ic), an updated iPython and lots of PyOsso examples. Thanks to everybody that has contributed! New PyMaemo release is coming. From blogger import luck. Python2.5.1 for Maemo (r0.4-15 / c1.0-3) released. A new release of PyMaemo. Is available. This one includes bugfixes, new packages (setuptools, pyopenssl and python-sdk) and a lot of updates. In order to clean Application Manager programs list, python packages without GUI doesn't show up in AM list anymore. It will be only installed as a dependency of other packages or via command line. To do the update you can use the ".install" files from Maemo downloads.

From blogger import luck. PyGtk with glade support. A new PyGTK, with glade support, is available at chinook extras repository. It was generated using libglade2-0. 24 provided by Maemo SDK). Just refresh application list and update python2.5-runtime package. Other bugfixes and unstable modules, like python-launcher, will be released using the new "extras-devel" repository.
