a little something to share

Monday, August 3, 2015. Home again home again jiggity jig. The old jail in Robe. I think the kids could've stayed an additional 20 minutes simply running and climbing around. The obelisk was pretty amazing. The kids wanted to climb that too.they were disappointed which my answer and I'm sure being cramped in the backseat for hours on end had nothing to do with it. Jordan had a turn too. Links to this post. Sunday, August 2, 2015. Parts of rural Australia remind me of Montana. After driving a couple h...

a little something to share: Victor Harbour

http://pysanki.blogspot.com/2015/06/victor-harbour.html

Friday, June 12, 2015. Today we ventured to Victor Harbour. My friend Sara joined us and was able to guide us toward thing we may have otherwise missed. Including this sculpture. At Victor Harbour, there's a horse pulled team that you can ride to Granite Island that's inhabited by cute little penguins. Unfortunately, it didn't look like they were running today and we were cold, hungry and caffeine deprived. As we had left first thing, a coffee and breakfast stop was a priority. Two Bees fit the bill.

a little something to share: Mount Gambier

http://pysanki.blogspot.com/2015/08/mount-gambier.html

Sunday, August 2, 2015. This weekend we decided to take a little trip or as James would call it, "a holiday. I love taking holidays! We decided to head to Mount Gambier. On our way we stopped at Melba's Chocolate Factory. As it was Saturday, the factory floor wasn't very busy. We'll have to go again when they're up and running. They had loads of goodies and fun gift bags. They also had frosted or chocolate covered Turkish delight. Turkish delight is like applets and cotlets without nuts. When planning th...

Waiting | t r a v i s & m a r c y

https://travisandmarcy.wordpress.com/2010/06/02/waiting-2

T r a v i s and m a r c y. June 2, 2010. I am due in 11 days! I can’t believe it. For the past few weeks, my “nesting” instinct has been on overdrive. If it isn’t nailed down or really necessary at our house, it has been passed along to a friend, sent to Goodwill, recycled or hauled off to the dump. And the necessities…my hospital bag packed, her clothes washed, diapers ready, co-sleeper empty and waiting next to our bed. So here I am, waiting, trying to be patient. Knowing with my track record of 12...

8220;All the natural acts of the soul are controlled by laws similar to gravity. The only exception is grace.”. Monday, August 2, 2010. Posted by Leona Bergstrom. I suppose that ever since Grandmas have lived long enough to actually be with grandchildren they have demonstrated their love in both simple and extraordinary ways. And then, once in awhile, we do something extraordinary! Would understate Caleb’s reaction. It was a work of art! A note from Terry: Although it is my day to post and time to end ou...

8220;All the natural acts of the soul are controlled by laws similar to gravity. The only exception is grace.”. Tuesday, June 10, 2008. Welcome to our blog. Simone Weil was one of last century’s most interesting, albeit controversial, philosophers and thinkers. She coined the phrase “grace and gravity” when describing life. The weather was clear and near freezing so we were busily mittening, hatting and coating little boys at every turn. Toys made traversing the living space especially treacherous! Somewhere in the middle of all of this, a friend said, “BUT, you are having FUN, aren’t you? January 4, 2010 at 7:42 AM. Trudy said&...
