Q on holiday: Dinosaur Monument
http://qonholiday.blogspot.com/2011/07/dinosaur-monument.html
Saturday, July 9, 2011. We drove into Utah. We were looking for Dinosaur Monument. We saw a Bullock's Oriole at a Humming bird feeder. At the Welcome Center. His mate was waiting for her turn. It was here I first learned of the petroglyphs that were. On the rocks in the Monument. The quarry was closed to the public. We saw a Spotted Towhee. He sang for us. A new to us bird. I was disappointed I couldn't get into the quarry. Yet when I saw the rock art I was thrilled. The art spoke to my soul.

The Ayurveda Way: October 2011

Friday, October 28, 2011. Magic in the air. Each day the butterflies are in the gardens is a blessed day. We have had a few light frosts. The marigolds have been outstanding this year. They are my marigolds.seed to seed for many, many years. I once again took my yoga to the deck. Once again I took my meditation outdoors. I wanted to be with the butterflies and birds. The colors mix with the scent of wood fires. I am reminded of long ago bonfires. I can hear laughter in the Northern wind. And the seed pods.

Sue Turner's Art: February 2009
http://sueturnersart.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Fractals. Digital art. Photography. Videos. Watercolors. Thursday, February 19, 2009. As a child, my favorite coloring canvas was an embossed paper napkin. Crayolas, freshly sharpened, were the sticks with which I built my art appreciation. Looking back, I feel sorry for Mom. She must have felt a ton of frustration when she found the napkin drawer either full of colored papery stuff or empty. Hearts; ♥ ♥. Links to this post. Wednesday, February 11, 2009. Is a good place to start. Apophysis, Fractal Explo...

Woodland Things: June 2011
http://woodlandthings.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
A Japanese - inspired Woodland garden. Friday, June 3, 2011. First Aid for Butterflies. We all admire the beauty of butterflies in the garden. They bring colorful movement into the garden space, and help pollinate our garden flowers and plants. It's a shame when we see an injured butterfly. Like most people, I've always assumed that butterflies are so fragile that you can't do anything to help a butterfly with a torn wing or other problem. First Aid For Butterflies. Links to this post.
