Friday, October 28, 2011. Magic in the air. Each day the butterflies are in the gardens is a blessed day. We have had a few light frosts. The marigolds have been outstanding this year. They are my marigolds.seed to seed for many, many years. I once again took my yoga to the deck. Once again I took my meditation outdoors. I wanted to be with the butterflies and birds. The colors mix with the scent of wood fires. I am reminded of long ago bonfires. I can hear laughter in the Northern wind. And the seed pods.

Monday, April 2, 2012. We received our Spring Kiting magazine. I will savor every word. My WW II study continues. I am intrigued by the way the Allies treasured the art in Italy. Once again I am inspired by artist that use natural finds. I love learning about my passions. Slowly I am learning the Latin names of the plants that grow in my backyard. I am just starting this book on Paleo-Indians. I like to read prehistory before bed. Dreaming of Mammoths makes me happy. I love learning about the bugs. The Hurricane season is upon us. Saturday, October 22, 2011. I am treasuring each page in my. My herbal is on the coffee table. I am preparing for winter. I am gathering the last of the herbs. And drying what I can. We watched this funny movie this past week. I requested it from the library. I read lots of books about garlic. We planted our garlic patch. It is our first attempt. I hope to have plenty of heads to share next summer. I feel as if I am an Alchemist. My husband stirs together the leaves and clippings. And makes black gold.

This book has encouraged me to find my terroir,. My place of taste. I just begun reading this history of dance and find myself. Becoming upset. I seldom think about how unjustly we treat each other. Woman have mistreated for hundreds of years. I have not begun this book. I am a plant person. I love finding ways of using the plants I grow.

Monday, March 26, 2012. I try to read every evening before I go to sleep. This journey makes for nice dreams. I love the study of phenology. This is a great book. A zip-zap-zip guide to identifying. I have checked this book out of the library so many times. It is time for me to buy my own copy. I love the history and folklore. I decided to read this book now and try to.
