Monroe PD K-9 unit - National Police Car Archives. Sep 7th, 2004 01:51 am Monroe PD K-9 unit. While I was out at walmart last night I noticed a K-9 unit parked out front. As far as I know this is the only one Monroe has. They used to have two, however one of the dogs, Officer Zurik (or is it Zurich? Developed hip problems and was retired. On my way to pick my sister up from school I noticed that Stallings acquired an Expedition. I stopped and got pictures on my way back home. Unfortunatly I forgot my camera when I ran out to lowes, missed the chance to get a pair of state troopers eating at chick-fil-a and a prisoner transport van at lowes. Maybe next time :). I was up at Western Carolina University (Jackson County) this past week and I got pictures of two of the campus police impalas. Wingate PD and Campus Safety - National Police Car Archives. Sep 18th, 2004 12:49 am Wingate PD and Campus Safety. After I got off work I drove out to Marshville to see if I could finish up Union County. Unfortunately the police department had already closed and the only car was inside of a privacy fence. On the way back I stopped in Wingate and got all but one of the cars, as well as the Wingate University Campus Safety. Apparently Wingate University does not have their own police force.

Waxhaw PD Crown Victoria - National Police Car Archives. Sep 8th, 2004 04:04 am Waxhaw PD Crown Victoria. While I was out at walmart (yes again) I heard on the CB that there was PD car at one of the gas stations in Wingate. I drove out there and sure enough, it was parked out front, unoccupied. I suspect the officer was with the other officer in the camaro at the McDonald's drive-through down the street. Unfortunately they were gone when I went back to get a picture of that too.
