Since viruses don’t contain a generic barcode gene, it was decided to sequence the whole genome of viruses in this work package using Next Generation Sequence Technology. The objective of this WP is to develop a DNA barcoding method for identification of high priority viruses present in the EU Plant Health Directive and EPPO Plant Health lists of quarantine pathogens. On 21 September 2012 the QBOL project ended officially. Many results were obtained in the different work packages. A consortium of 20 partners. Na wstępie uprzedzę, że mimo, że temat jest bliski mojemu sercu, jako informatykowi, to absolutnie nie uważam się za eksperta w dziedzinie sztucznej inteligencji, sieci neuronowych czy innych rzeczy o których będę pisał, zatem pytania, które poniżej formułuje należy rozumieć właśnie tak - jak pytania.
