Wednesday, April 8, 2009. Getting ready to pick. I've ended up talking to 31 machinist companies. Some turned me down (for a variety of reasons) and some just couldn't get a quote back to me in a proper time, but 16 of them returned an official answer. As you may see a couple of the quotes came in quite favorably. It appears that our order for armatures will be around 5. The two most favorable quotes provided prices of $348 and $420 per armature.
