He graduated from the Music Conservatory of the Northwest University for Nationalities, and he has worked as a guzheng performer with the Lanzhou Military District Symphony Orchestra. Mr Bi has twice won first prize in the Shanghai instrumental solo guzheng competition. The Qian Kun Institute’s Language and Arts Center currently offers language classes in Mandarin Chinese and music classes for the Guzheng, a member of the zither family, and the piano. The applications of additional instructors are being reviewed, and we are expecting to be offering additional courses in music and the arts in the near future.
