Posted on January 3, 2016. 对付断电，果断买了个 UPS 便宜好用的 APC BK650 ，通过 USB 口接到 NAS 上，即插即用，顺利识别。 但是万一 NAS 上的硬盘真的挂了，怎么办呢 还得有远程的备份。 前两个月一直采用 NAS 上装个 headless CrashPlan 的方案。 NAS上的设置极简单，跟着向导设置 backup set 即可。 热数据基本都靠 Dropbox 或者 Bittorrent Sync 同步，前者有30天后悔药，后者有 archive 目录。 Amazon S3 Bucket 的 Lifecycle 设置很适合这个应用场景。 可以设置当前版本的文件在30天后切换到 Infrequent Access Storage Class，便宜 以前的旧版本，在此基础上，还可以设置60天后扔到 Glacier，425天后永久删除，更便宜. Posted on October 26, 2015. 家里有一个 Asus AC66R，一个 Netgear WNDR3700，一个洋垃圾千兆交换机。 考虑到 NAT 性能，把 AC66R 作为主路由。 败了一对 Zinwell PLS-8011，一个插在客厅，一个插在书房，标称 1000M，实测 70M 100M 波动。 该速率像是半双工的，从 NAS 读取能达到 9 MB/s，但是读写同时进行，只有 5 MB/s 左右。 这个速度简直对不起 200M 入户的电信宽带，待改造，给台式机加个 802.11ac 的网卡后再战。 主板 Asus P8H67I-D 自带的 Wi-Fi 不支持 802.11ac，加上天线不给力，只能达到可怜的 15 Mbps。 插上，连接下面提到的 UAP，实测上下行都可以达到 240 260 Mbps，至少比电力猫测得的带宽高了许多，就这样吧。 用 iPhone6 Speedtest app 测速。 上下行速度在 A 位置有 240/28 Mbps，B 位置 25/25 Mbps，C 位置搜不到路由器的 SSID 广播，D 位置下行 1.x Mbps，上行测试失败。
